On Saturday
22nd August from 10:00 AM we held a
FUN DAY at the Toronto Foreshore featuring activities for kids and free
food for all. 
On
Sunday 23 August 9:30 AM we held our CELEBRATION
SERVICE at
the Toronto High School Hall, Field Avenue Toronto. David Starling from
Morling College was our speaker. A presentation gift of a Town Clock
was made to the Toronto Chamber of Commerce. A DVD of the PowerPoint
presentation shown at the service and again at our luncheon is
available for a small fee which will go towards the Building Fund. If

Daphne Edwards presented a poem, "Toronto Baptist Church, The Golden Years"
Sunday
23rd August 6pm RECHARGE
at the Church, 186 The Boulevarde Toronto, featuring Mark Forbes with a
special guest appearance by "LOUNGE".
A DVD of the Recharge service and the Lounge performance
is available for a small fee which will go the the Building fund.
There
was a special edition of the Bulletin produced for the anniversary
which listed some important history of the church. 
Thank Offering - Each year we collect a special offering. In 2009 we collected $2,745. $1,000 will go to the Yass Baptist church to help them with their building fund and the remainder is being given to the Baptist Churches of NSW and ACT for distribution to projects in rural churches of NSW.
